Our Story
The first encounter: After we started talking we realized we knew each other when we were really small kids. Probably between ages 5-10. Our parents use to be close friends and would see each other at prayer meetings, but since we were so young we barely remember each other. His brother remembers that my cousin picking on him. lol
The second encounter:His roommate Jason was also one of my friends/co-workers at the time. I stopped by their apartment and Jason introduced me to Jeff. We really didn't think much of it at that point either. Both of us assumed we would never see the other person again. I wasn't that close to Jason and went to school 4 hours away so I didn't visit again.
Third time is a charm: The last time I was in Chicago for a friends wedding I was approached by Uncle to meet a youth leader from there. I already knew him and he knew me, but my Uncle really had other intentions for the introductions. My uncle told him the family was trying to get me married and if they can think of anyone (Indian people are so direct). Well the youth leader did know someone in my area and asked for my email address to it to Jeff. They gave it to him who apparently thought there is no harm in emailing some random girl. We emailed for 2 weeks and to tell the truth neither one of us liked the of the other person. Out of politeness we decided to meet up for dinner. It was suppose to be just dinner, but not wanting the night to end it turned into a walked around the square and a movie. Going to dinner was the best move both of us made, so far. We have been together ever since and will be getting married on our 2 year anniversary!!!!
