On June 11th, 2010 a week before our One Year Anniversary Jeff decided to take me out to eat in order to celebrate our anniversary early, since he was not going to be in town for our actual anniversary. I met him at his house and like normal he wasn't ready. So while I'm ironing his shirt, he hands me a Blue Nile box. I open it and I wondered if it was an engagement ring. He didn't say anything, he wasn't down on one knee, and I was on the phone! It ended up being a beautiful necklace with the word Love inscribed on it. I loved it!! I realized this was my anniversary present and I was a little sad because I realized he wan't going to propose since he already gave me a gift.
We head to Downtown Fort Worth for dinner. We were early so we decided to take a walk around downtown, we passed by the gazebo where we had our first kiss. We had stopped by this place before to just sit and talk many times before. So, I didn't think it was weird that we would do this on our One Year Anniversary. We sat and talked about going ring shopping and he was asking which of the rings we already saw I liked (We had been looking for 3 months at that point) and then after he received a cue, that I didn't notice, he got down on one knee. I said,"What are you doing?" He responded by telling me how much he loved me and how wonderful the last year has been for him. I interrupted him by asking again, "What are you doing?" ( Remember I'm thinking he didn't have a ring. He has been telling me for two weeks he hadn't bought it yet) He said, "Just listen I have a speech!" I listened and he pulled out the ring and it was so pretty!! He asked me to be his wife.. I said "YES!!!" I can now say he went to Jared's!
I gave him this huge hug, then we hear some random clapping. We looked over and there was a homeless man who had been watching us. He said, "Good job man!" we looked at eachother and when we looked back he had walked away. It was entertaining! Finally, we headed to the restaurant after that.

When we got to the restaurant they seated us right away and I noticed we were going to a room with a large table. I was like, "why is it such a big table and why would they sit us at a table with people at it already?". Just then, I saw my sister!! Jeff had arranged for both my sisters from Houston to be there with my Brother-in-law, 2 nephews, and Jeff's parents. I was so shocked and still shaking from the proposal. I just couldn't believe how amazingly perfect it was and Jeff actually planned all this for me. He did an amazing job!

This is the Engagement ring with the two Wedding bands. There is an engraving on the engagement ring that's in Latin, "Love Conquers All." The two stones on either side of the wedding bands are a Ruby and a Sapphire because my favorite color is red and his is Blue. Jeff did an awesome job with all of it!

His band

As mentioned Jeff's favorite color is Blue! So this was only appropriate for his wedding band. I found the band online and engraved it at Jared's. It says "Love you millions - 6.18.11" Which is something between us.
